2. What data we collect and why

Contact form

When you use the contact form on this website, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • The message you submit

We use this data solely to respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (processing necessary for steps prior to entering into a contract) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries directed at us).

We do not use contact form submissions for marketing purposes and do not share them with third parties.

Server logs

Our web server automatically records standard access logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamp). These are used exclusively for security monitoring and technical operation of the site. Logs are retained for a maximum of 14 days and then deleted. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Cookies

This website does not use tracking or analytics cookies. A session cookie may be set for technical operation of the site (e.g. form submission handling). Session cookies expire when you close your browser.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted on a server located in Germany. Your data does not leave the European Economic Area as part of normal website operation.

4. Retention

Contact form data is retained only as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and any follow-up, and deleted thereafter — typically within 90 days unless a longer engagement follows.

5. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access (Art. 15 GDPR) — you may request confirmation of whether we process your data and, if so, a copy of it.
  • Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR) — you may request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) — you may request deletion of your data where no legal obligation requires us to retain it.
  • Restriction (Art. 18 GDPR) — you may request that we restrict processing of your data.
  • Objection (Art. 21 GDPR) — you may object to processing based on legitimate interest.
  • Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) — you may request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@faaleoleo.io.

6. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority in Germany is the Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Bundesbeauftragter für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit, BfDI): www.bfdi.bund.de
